Najib Razak: Malaysia’s Most Toxic Prime Minister

by Nawawi Mohamed
Najib Vs MahathirNajib and his Political Mentor
Tunku Abdul Rahman, Tun Abdul Razak, Tun Hussein Onn, Tun Dr. Mahathir and Tun Abdullah Badawi have their plus and negative points. Some of them have made positive and lasting impact on our country. Some are popular, some are less popular and they have been loved and hated.
But Najib is in a class of his own; he is a  complete disaster. He is the least popular and the most toxic and despised Prime Minister of all, at least for now. He has not been able to improve things in our country and has led our country to the brink of economic, racial, social and religious disaster.
His mistakes are obvious and too numerous. In fact all of them have been recorded, explained and written on the Internet. Just google “najib scandal’ and within 0.24 seconds, a very long list of more than 20 pages will definitely be displayed on the computer screen.
Thus Najib has been advised by his highly paid consultant to embark on making himself loved and popular. However his popularity is quite cheap; use paid crowds, ask them to wear the Najib T-shirts and carry the “I Love PM” placards, then display photo-shopped images in the main stream media.
Unfortunately and as expected, the effects have not been lasting, and now it has backfired when the netizens have modified his images with all sorts of funny, degrading and vulgar images and Najib could not do anything about it.
They say ‘respect’ is to be gained and not be bought. Thus when Najib ‘bought ‘the respect by rewarding cronies, sycophants and renting several crowds, it would just be those group of people who would show their respect. Above all it is most insincere and their respect could be turned towards others who could give more.
Genuine respect is very difficult to achieve but it would be priceless and everlasting. When a leader has the respect of the people, he or she would not be scorned at, condemned and belittled.
With the advent of the social media like WhatsApp and Facebook, leaders could judge for themselves how respected they are by noting the number of followers and reading the comments. Najib should take heed of the comments on his Facebook account to realize how unpopular and how much respect he has amongst the people.
Maybe Najib has started to realize it now when his image is not widely used in the Permatang Pauh by-election campaign and when he received a wave of boos at the national-level Labour Day celebration at the Borneo Convention Centre in Kuching, Sarawak.
Saifuddin Abdullah2The latest UMNO Baru Hypocrite
When Najib refused to budge after the attacks from Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, the people hate him more because of his arrogance in not admitting his wrong doing. The rakyat have now started to talk openly how they feel about Najib.
Of course there are still many who support him blindly, but those who have some common sense and have felt the pinch as a result of the GST amongst the Mak Ciks and Pak Ciks are wondering what is going on now in our country. In no time they will realize that all the burden they are facing now is because of Najib.
Rosmah withdrawDr. Mahathir is going on a road show to explain his attacks towards Najib and this will open more eyes and minds of the people. In the end, Najib will not only be the least popular and if he still refuse to budge, he would the most hated Prime Minister of Malaysia. What about Rosmah? That would be another story. – MAILBAG
