Thank you saudara. This is indeed confusion of the highest order. Sekolah kebangsaan or gomen schools are now becoming Talibanised, including Tunku Kursiah, MRSM and sekolah kebangsaan.
Why is it no surprise that all the ajaran sesat in the world like ISIS, Al Qaeda, Jemaah Islamiyah etc can recruit members here in Malaysia? Answer : Because this is where we are manufacturing them.
After the New Economic Policy the gomen realised that the villages and kampongs were not suitable environments to bring up modern, progressive Malays. The villages were full of kepercayaan tahyul, jampi, black magic, religious indoctrination, low literacy, backward thinking, belief in superstition, little or no reliance on logic, common sense and rational thinking.
All this and more resulted in the rural Malays being poor and economically disadvantaged.
The sekolah asrama penuh was a brilliant idea to remove bright Malay kids from the slow and debilitating environment of the rural areas and put them in a clean, new and sterile environment of the sekolah asrama penuh where they would be exposed to science, modern education, teachers of many races, discipline, sports, extra curricular activities and most important of all exposure to the life changing English language.
In other words thousands of Malay kids were "saved" or "rescued" from the superstitions, backward thinking, religious indoctrinations and most of the other negative factors that were impeding their progress in the villages and rural areas.
MCKK, MRSM, TKC, STAR, SDAR, Sekolah Menengah Sains etc were new and progressive environments to create the new and modern Malay generation.
Now the clock has been turned back. The village has crawled back into the sekolah asrama penuh as well as the sekolah kebangsaan. The MRSMs, TKCs, sekolah kebangsaan etc are revering back to what the villages have been all this while. And it is worse. Now it is the religious indoctrination that is overpowering everything.
And it is now penetrating the IPTA (gomen universities) as well. What is happening in the Universiti Malaysia Pahang and their Anti Hysteria Kit is a very clear example.
The vodoo, bomohism, black magic, hocus pocus and superstition which has long been legitimised as 'islamic' by village bomohs, village shamans, pawang, dukun and other village idiots has been "promoted" to university level. Endorsed by no other than the Ministry of Education.
