We register our highest condemnation on the case whereby a Nepal Security Guard has bashed and killed a dog in PJ Shopping Mall. This is the highest cruelty we have seen in recent times. The sad part is the culprit is a security guard who supposed to be high in discipline and tactful in their action. Though the guard need to be firm and strict in executing their job functions as security personals but at the same time they also need to observe professionalism and humanity in their tour of duty. How this type of officers going to face normal humans when they can’t even handle an animal properly. We doubt the guard is not in a proper state of mind to afflict such a painful act against an animal and furthermore to kill the animal which just came to take a shelter
His act of beating and killing the dog has placed our country’s image in the limelight for a bad reason which shows we are living in an intolerable society. We should not condone and take such atrocities lightly furthermore from a foreign security personal who supposedly has been trained accordingly.
We call upon the authority to take stern action against the security guard base on the available provision of law.
