Rosmah Mansor is arguably the most controversial of all prime ministers’ wives in Malaysia to date, often being the target of allegations and slander.
However, her aide Rizal Mansor said the wife of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak does not let such things affect her.
“Though attacked with numerous lies and insults, she remains calm and cool,” he said, adding that she is someone who does not get easily upset.
“She is magnanimous, forgiving those who slander her, although those behind the slander never open their hearts to seek an apology from her,” he added in a Facebook posting.
The posting also featured a photograph of Rosmah in prayer.
According to him, Rosmah has accepted this as part and parcel of being the wife of the country’s highest leader.
“Her philosophy of life is that lies will never defeat the truth,” he added.
Rizal also prophesied that one of the signs of the end of time is the widespread use of slander in all forms.
Yesterday, a police report was lodged against owners of four Facebook accounts for alleged defamation of Pahang’s Sultan Ahmad Shah and Rosmah.
The report was lodged against social media postings based on several photographs taken during Najib’s annual Hari Raya open house function in Pekan, Pahang, on Saturday.
Based on the photographs, the postings which had gone viral implied that Rosmah had inappropriately cozied up to the sultan. - Mkini
