Former deputy prime minister Musa Hitam said the three ways to oust Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak outlined in his latest book ‘Frankly Speaking’ wasn’t his own idea.
According to Astro Awani, Musa said he was merely presenting what other had suggested.
“What I did was that I listed three suggestions on how to remove Najib. There were different quarters that gave suggestions.
“There are some that said Umno should be involved. Another (suggestion) said foreign powers and media should get involved and pressure him.
“There are also those who suggested elections. I only listed the suggestions and expressed my views on the impact.
“It did not mean that I was listing three of my own suggestions,” he was quoted as saying.
Musa in his book ‘Franky Speaking’listed three means of ousting Najib, namely through Umno, foreign intervention or the general election.
He did not attribute the source of these methods.
Musa said those who thought those were his own suggestions may be due to “poor command of the English language”.
