PETALING JAYA: The missing final year medical student of a private college, reported missing since Saturday, has been found.
New Straits Times Online reported that Siti Fatimatuzzahrah Bumidin, 25, was found taking refuge at a mosque in town by a relative at 2pm today.
She was undergoing training at the Sibu Hospital and was believed to be under extreme pressure and stress due to her examination.
The report said this could have led to her running away.
It said the student was too traumatised to talk to anyone, including her own relatives.
Sibu District Deputy Police Chief Supt Martin Khoo confirmed that the student had been found and that she was not injured.
Her housemate lodged a missing person’s report on Monday after she could not be contacted.
