War Inside Saudi Arabia : Yemen To Target Ballistic Missiles At Riyadh, Jeddah, Dubai

As a result of the ongoing Saudi Arabian bombing of Yemen, the Yemenis are retaliating with ballistic missiles at major Saudi cities like Taif, Jeddah, Riyadh and now Emirati cities like Dubai.  The Emirates (aka UAE) is assisting Saudi Arabia in the attack against Yemen.

The Yemenis have developed a domestic capacity to modify  Russian Scud missiles which have a range of about 800km. The missile is about 40 feet long and weighs 8 tons which includes a 0.5 ton warhead packed with very high explosives.

My comments : This is becoming a war of attrition that is not going in favour of the Saudis.  

On October 8th the Yemenis successfully launched a ballistic missile that accurately hit a Saudi airbase  780 km away in Taif,  which is located about 107 km away from Mecca.  

19 days later on 27th October the Yemenis launched another ballistic missile at the Jeddah International Airport. 

The Saudis have never denied that these missiles were fired at these places. The Saudis claim their Patriot system shot down one of the Yemeni missiles, confirming that the Yemenis have the capacity to fire these missiles accurately over those distances.

According to the news report above,  defense analysts expect the Yemenis to soon fire more missiles at Jeddah, Riyadh (the Saudi capital) and also at Dubai which is in the UAE.

The UAE has sent men, material and airforce planes to assist the Saudis to attack Yemen. Hence Dubai has become a belligerant and a legitimate target for Yemeni retaliation.

It will cause quite unbearable economic damage if Dubai Airport is hit by ballistic missiles. Dubai survives because of oil and its airport.

It will cause unbearable panic in Saudi Arabia if Riyadh or Jeddah Airport are hit by ballistic missiles.  The King and his foolish son (the Defense Minister) will lose their heads.

There is a simple solution. 

The Saudis should just ceasefire. 

Then negotiate compensation for Yemen. 

They started this aggression.
