Santubong PKR Youth chief Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz has lodged a police report with the intent to rebut accusations against him made by "netizens, cybertroopers, (Gombak Setia assemblyperson) Hilman Idham, and others".
He also cited concerns to his safety.
According to photos of the report posted by Haziq on Facebook today, it was lodged at the Kelana Jaya police station.
Yesterday, Haziq said he was filmed in a sex video, with another individual whom he alledged was Economic Affairs Minister Azmin Ali, who denied the allegation.
In the police report, Haziq repeated his claims from an earlier statement, that Azmin had ordered Hilman to meet him at a restaurant in the Marriot Putrajaya.
He said Hilman had demanded for him to deny being in the sex videos and had also threatened, intimidated, and manipulated him.
Earlier today, Hilman admitted to meeting Haziq at the restaurant but declined to divulge details, stating that the matter would be investigated by the police.
Azmin had described the videos as a diabolical plot to aimed at ruining his political career.
He said today that Haziq exhibited the character of someone who had been manipulated.
Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad also dismissed the videos as fakes, claiming those behind them had a political motive. - Mkini
