KUALA LUMPUR: Scores of reporters are congregating at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital following news that Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz has been brought there for a medical examination.
Despite the hot weather, the media people were seen "camping out" at the hospital from as early as 10am.
While he is expected to be released on police bail on Saturday (June 15), nobody is sure when this will happen, and everybody is eagerly awaiting new developments.
Haziq's lawyers have also been seen at the hospital, waiting on their client.
On Friday (June 14), Bukit Aman CID director Comm Datuk Huzir Mohamed confirmed that Haziq had been arrested at the international departure hall of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
“Based on his ticket, he was to fly to Manila.
“The investigation will be conducted under Section 292 (sale of obscene material), 504 (intent to provoke breach of peace) and 377B (carnal intercourse against nature) of the Penal Code, as well as Section 233 Multimedia and Communication Act 1998,” he said in a statement.
It is learnt that Haziq was taken in on Friday (June 14) at around 5.30pm.- Star
