These folks are not going anywhere in a hurry. These folks are still sorting out their history from the Sultanate of Delhi (13th century). 

But it is the Indian sub-continent that is fragmenting again and again. Here is some quick history:

From 1857 to 1947, India was fragmented many times. Afghanistan was separated from India in 1876, Nepal in 1904, Bhutan in 1906, Tibet in 1907, Sri Lanka in 1935, Myanmar in 1937 and Pakistan in 1947.

In 1971 Pakistan broke up into two ie Bangladesh and Pakistan. Now Pakistan is on its way to cracking up into Balochistan, Pushtunistan and maybe even Sindh. 

Pushtunistan may join Afghanistan (the subject of the cantankerous debate above).

What about India? There are serious troubles brewing in the northeastern Indian states of Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh. The people who populate northeast India do not look like Indians. They look like Myanmarese or even Chinese.

My suggestion is that they all break up quickly. Become many independent (and hopefully democratic) states. Then they should form a customs union like the early European Union (charge the same import duties and allow free trade) and also set up a Joint Defense Treaty like the African Union (which works to an extent). 

Believe me folks. This is 2021. Listen to the guys shouting at each other in the debate. That one fellow (he is a Punjabi) says the Aghans (he really means Pushtuns) are "genetically backward".

There is going to be more and more of this from Kibithu (the eastern tip of Arunachal Pradesh in India) to Saindak (the western tip of Balochistan in Pakistan).
