Strengthen party into a national political giant - Anwar

 

PKR president Anwar Ibrahim has urged party members to implement more concrete actions starting from the grassroots level to strengthen the party and rise as a national political giant. 

Anwar also called for the party to move actively and be more aggressive in implementing information programmes about the party’s policies.

“First, the membership must be large. The branches must be alive and the divisions must be fresh.

“The state leadership council must be more active and the machinery of the committee must be greater than before.

“The party needs to aggressively explain its attitude and stand and vigorously strengthen our machinery so that PKR emerges as a giant in our country’s political system,” he said in a speech at a special party convention in conjunction with its 25th anniversary celebrations in Shah Alam, today.
