A life-threatening situation yet detractors allege DAP “orchestrates” Teresa Kok’s death threat

PRO-Pakatan Harapan (PH) social media influencers have come to the defence of six-term Seputeh MP Teresa Kok Suh Sim after opposition-slant keyboard warriors downplayed the death threat the former received as a “self-orchestrated hoax”.

Rangga Is Back (@alif_haidar) came forward to lambast a detractor known as Muhammad Faiz Razali (@MFaizRazali) who was seemingly treating the life-threatening situation as a “prank”.

“The attack on two football players Akhyar Rashid and Faisal Halim and two police stations is a clear indication that every threat that disrupts peace must be taken seriously,” posted Rangga Is Back on the X platform.

“Why did you delete (your earlier) tweet (see main image), @MFaizRazali??? Because you think this is a joke?”

Apart from allegations of “right hand does the job, left hand plays victim” and using same formula since 2015” on his tweet which has since been deleted, Muhammad Faiz Razali has in a later post questioned why the culprits of an earlier threat to Kok in February 2014 “have never been found till now”.

Recall that Kok has found a slaughtered chicken, splashes of red paint and her own photo outside her service centre in Jalan Kuchai Lama on Feb 19, 2014.

For context, Kok who is also the DAP vice-chairman had discovered two bullets and a death threat in her home’s mailbox. She confirmed the unsettling incident on Facebook (FB), stating that the items were found on Wednesday (May 15).

“I then lodged a police report and handed over the letter and ammunition to the cops at the Petaling police station. The police also came to the mailbox section of my condominium to conduct an inspection,” she related her ordeal on her FB page.

“I’m really surprised and don’t understand why I should be receiving bullets and letter that threatens my life.”

Elsewhere, another netizen also exposed a social media post by one Faiz Fayeshz (@faizfayeshz) who alleged that Kok’s action is intended “to portray the Malays and Muslims as racist and violent”.

“Teresa didn’t even directly mention anyone’s race/religion but Faiz accused Teresa of trying to prove that Malays are violent/racist (with an extreme comparison),” tweeted zrnhs (@ZareenH_s).

“Indirectly, Faiz who is a Malay has lent credence to the belief that he himself as a Malay is violent and racist.”

Another staunch PH influencer CIKY🅰️NIE (@lady_bugg11) reckoned that if indeed the culprit who sent the threat note and bullets to Kok were to be a Muslim, “then this would be a big shame to Islam”.

“The action doesn’t reflect the correct teachings of Islam as brought by the Prophet Muhammad,’ she posted on the X platform.

“Do we want our society to continue living in this insecure environment? Who should be blamed? For me, the politicians who fish in troubled waters. Blame everything on DAP, DAP, DAP.” – Focus Malaysia
