After 3,000 to 4,000 Hezbollah pagers exploded on Tuesday killing more than 12 people and injuring over 2,800 (as per reports and subject to final tallies) yesterday Wednesday Hezbollah owned walkie talkies began exploding all over Beirut and Lebanon. So far 14 have been killed (still counting) and 400 injured.
In both pager attacks all of the Hezbollah people who were hit were of some leadership level from the ground up. The pagers were issued to ranks like cell leaders, platoon commanders, officers.
Many suffered serious injuries to their hands (fingers amputated) and blinding in the eyes.
In the latest series of explosions yesterday Wednesday, Hezbollah had switched from pagers to walkie talkies. Suddenly hundreds of Hezbollah walkie talkies blew up, killing 14 and wounding 400 more. Again the walkie talkies were issued to Hezbollah cell leaders, platoons leaders and other ranks.
Solar panels have also blown up plus also some shops that sell mobile phones.
This means over Tuesday and Wednesday over 3,000 Hezbollah ranks have been injured (with some killed) and put out of action.
It appears that an Israeli incursion into southern Lebanon could be imminent. They will not blow up 4,000 pagers and hundreds of walkie talkies with no tactical objective.
