Former Umno Supreme Council member Isham Jalil has hit back at Mohd Puad Zarkashi for pinning Perikatan Nasional’s defeat in the Mahkota by-election on him.
In a Facebook post, he chided the veteran Umno leader, saying Puad was behaving like a “low-level cybertrooper” and not befitting his position as the Johor state assembly speaker.
“Johor state assembly speaker Puad ‘meroyan’ (throwing tantrum) again. Even after (BN) has won the by-election.
“He blamed me for PN’s loss in Mahkota, saying that it was because of my campaign. But I didn’t even go to Mahkota throughout the by-election period.
“Puad is not behaving like a state assembly speaker as he should, but instead acting like he is some cheap cybertrooper.
“Perhaps he still could not get over people calling him a communist class student,” Isham said.
‘Repent’
The two politicians have been trading barbs since last week when Isham accused Puad and BN members of learning communism during a recent trip to China.
After BN recorded a landslide win in the Mahkota by-election in Johor on Saturday, Puad posted a sarcastic message on Facebook mocking PN and Isham, telling the opposition to send Isham to learn politics from China’s political schools.
Isham, in his latest Facebook post, further taunted Puad on Umno’s cooperation with DAP.
He also claimed that Puad and Umno had succumbed to DAP and communism.
