The Putrajaya MP says rusty water has stained school uniforms and caused skin irritation.

He said he had repeatedly raised the issue with the relevant agencies, including through a letter to the chief secretary to the government, but no comprehensive plan had been drawn up to address the problem.
“I have received many complaints about this. Children’s white school uniforms have turned yellow and become stained, while many residents have suffered skin irritation,” he said in the Dewan Rakyat today.
Radzi asked when the government would allocate funds to resolve the problem.
Separately, he urged the government to ensure that all eligible civil servants received the full RM90 monthly parking reimbursement.
He said limited parking at ministries and government agencies in Putrajaya had forced many civil servants, particularly those in lower grades, to use paid parking facilities.
Under the 2024 Human Resource Service Circular on Other Facilities, the government provides a monthly parking reimbursement of RM90.
However, Radzi said the policy’s implementation varied among ministries and agencies, with some rejecting claims or imposing reimbursement limits due to insufficient allocations.
“I urge the government to ensure all eligible civil servants receive the reimbursement at the prescribed rate.” - FMT
