Ban Guan Eng from Johor, says ex-DAP man

A former DAP official, Mohamed Razali Abdul Rahman, has called for Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng to be banned from setting foot in Johor.

"I would like to request that the sultan of Johor ban Lim from entering the state," the former Bukit Dumbar branch committee member was quoted as saying to the Malay daily Utusan Malaysiayesterday.

NONEThis comes after Lim (right) was reported to have bad-mouthed Johor in Singapore by suggesting that people were "likely to be kidnapped" when visiting Johor.

Mohamed Razali accused Lim of being arrogant and egoistic, adding that the DAP secretary-general was unlikely to apologise.

"I am confident that he won't because he always feels that he is the only person who is right."

The former DAP man had in the past made a police report over a meeting by Lim with Christian leaders, claiming that there was aconspiracy to establish a Christian state.

National newswireBernama had on Sept 23 alleged that Lim had bad-mouthed Johor during a trip to Australia.

Reacting to the report, Lim vehemently denied the claim by producing a transcript of his speech as evidence and demanded an unconditional apology.

However, TV3 later revealed that the statement was in fact made in Singapore and not Australia.

Lim has since responded through his aide, stating that he will not be commenting until he has dealt with Bernama.
