Another Splash of Red Paint at Pakatan Rakyat Ceramah at Jempol, NS

Seremban - first visit of the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) to Kampung Baru Air Hitam, Jempol last night to deliver a Ceramah was greeted with red paint splash by some unscrupulous people. 

PR staff at the site only learned at about 11.30 pm after finding two plastic bags of red paint thrown on the road near the parking area. 

DAP Negeri Sembilan chief, Anthony Loke who delivered his ceramah described the move as disrespectful and is responsible for trying to make trouble for the PR. 

"PR first Ceramah in the area and was very frustrating when there is such untoward incident while he was delivering a speech. "I believe it is done between the hours of 11 to 11.30 pm since the paint is still fresh. I think parties that want to throw paint on cars, but did not hit the target while causing it to fall on the road, "he told The Star here yesterday. 

Loke said he did not rule out 'foul play" since of late there is an increase of support for the Opposition and the ruling UMNO/BN is desperate to hoodwink the rakyat in face of the 13th General Elections-13 soon. 

"The habit of throwing paint during Opposition Ceramah has become a normal norm of the UMNO/BN with the 13th General Elections.

The practice of using the "paid" political thugs to create the splashing of red paint on Opposition Ceramah vehicles must be seriously investigated and appropriate action taken against the thugs and those behind the scene who had paid and engaged these thugs. 

PR will not bow down to these threats and will continue to intense their campaign to tell the truth to the rakyat to change the current administration if they want a brighter tomorrow, "he said.
