Ibrahim Ali wants no action against Umno man Che Johan

Ibrahim is defending the Pasir Mas parliamentary seat.PASIR MAS, April 22 — Datuk Ibrahim Ali has urged the Umno disciplinary committee not to take action against Pasir Mas Umno division deputy chief Che Johan Che Pa for failing to file nomination papers yesterday.

“I appeal that no action be taken against Che Johan as what he did was actually good for Barisan Nasional,” said Ibrahim at a rally in Kampung Kubang Bunut here last night.

Ibrahim, who is defending the Pasir Mas parliamentary seat as an independent, is involved in a straight fight with Nik Mohd Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz from PAS. — Bernama
