A-G's report. For how long more do M'sians, especially Malays, want to live with the ROT?

A-G's report. For how long more do M'sians, especially Malays, want to live with the ROT?
Each year the Auditor General’s Report raises more than eyebrows. Yet, we let all things be, and soon the wastage, mismanagement and lack of accountability is forgiven and forgotten.
The 2013 Auditor General’s Report brings to the fore shocking and totally unacceptable cases of wastage, suspicious deals, losses and incidents screaming of a scam, mismanagement and absolute indifference to nation, King and rakyat.
From the Customs to the police, from Works Ministry to all of the many departments and ministries, they all seem to be wasting the rakyat’s wealth and contribution through productivity, taxes and fines.
Has anyone done some arithmetic to help establish what in terms of national time, resources and Ringgit is the total loss arising from all these shoddy, tardy, irresponsible, thieving wastage that went under the nation’s economic bridge for the current period of assessment?
How long more must we live with all these shocking shortfalls, crucifying misdeeds, and still allowing those responsible to get away quietly over time?
Lack of professionalism, lack of honesty
The lack of professionalism; the disregard to accountability; the care-a-less mismanagement mindsets and the ‘so-what’ attitudes are robbing this nation of its national wealth of productivity, efficiency, resources and above all its pride and integrity.
We cannot go on and on, year after year, and still see the filth and rubbish surface each time in the Auditor General’s Report. Somebody has to take the rap and if it is not the Prime Minister of the nation and his unsinkable UMNO-Baru political party, who else then?
Or shall we just tell the rakyat, “diam lah lu” and threaten them with “if you are not happy with the shortcomings, leave the country lah”?
Or shall we join the wagon and sing in chorus, “the Auditor General’s Report for 2013 has been spiked with foreign agents out to destroy the nation”?
Or perhaps we could all blame the Opposition political parties?
Rakyat must demand higher standards: But the majority in the population, the Malays, are keeping mum
The citizens of this nation need to sit up and demand explanations, resolutions and commitment to redress and those who have failed this nation through all these sheer wastages, mismanagements, scam-suspect operations, and lack of acceptable and honorable accountability must be brought to book.
It is about time that all responsible NGOs, honorable politicians, civil society leaders, shepherds of the various faiths and all citizens who love their country demanded in unison a stop to the unabated rot.
And the media must rise to the occasion to present the truth by being responsible, loyal to nation, King and rakyat and not fall behind the curtains of political party patronage.
This is not a time for playing politics or screaming slogans. The highlights in the Auditor General’s Report 2013 are beyond political agendas, beyond race divisiveness and certainly beyond religious fervors. The season is on to defend this nation against wastage and unaccounted dishonesty.
In the wake of a looming global economic crisis, we need to act and act fast in the best interest of this nation we call home. When the going gets tough, the tough need to get going.
We must do something; either we lead, follow or get out of the way and let this nation rise above the scum that seems to be the discovery year in, year out.
