TAWAU - Kalabakan Umno chief Datuk Seri Abdul Ghapur Salleh called on the party leadership to utilise information technology (IT) in its future elections.
He said the use of ballot papers in the Wanita, Youth and Puteri elections yesterday complicated matters and confused the delegates.
He said so while commenting on the counting of ballot papers for the Kalabakan Wanita division which had yet to be completed despite its 725 delegates having cast their votes last night.
A survey by Bernama at the counting centre found the staff still busy separating the papers and it is understood that the results are expected late this evening. – Bernama
