There are no “sensational” issues that have been raised in the Audit Report 2012 if compared with previous reports, Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairperson Nur Jazlan Mohamed said today.
Speaking at a forum on audit report at the Karangkraf headquarters today, Nur Jazlan said that the most “sensational” case unearthed in the report released last week was the police’s missing firearms and cars.
“That (issue), the value is only RM1.3 million. It’s not as big as National Feedlot Corporation (NFC),” he said.
However, his attempts to play down the findings in the report were met with boos from the audience during the two-hour forum.
