Sanjeevan's shooting being probed, insist cops

Bukit Aman CID chief Hadi Ho Abdullah has rebutted MyWatch chairperson R Sri Sanjeevan's allegation that the police are not investigating his shooting case.

Hadi maintained that the police started the investigation the drive-by shooting case - that seriously injured Sanjeevan - from the very beginning after the police report was lodged, and has classified the case as attempted murder..

“So the fact he said that we are not investigating is a blatant lie,” said Hadi (left) at a press conference today.

He was responding toSanjeevan’s complaint that the police were more interested in investigating his tweets alleging police involvement in the shooting, than in finding his assailants.

He added that the police have yet to take his statement on the incident.
