NIBONG TEBAL: Police are seeking witnesses to a fatal accident northbound on the North-South Expressway near Bandar Baharu here to help in their investigations.
Seberang Perai Selatan police chief Chong Boo Khim said the accident on April 7 morning involved a black Honda Civic car and another vehicle, believed to be a lorry.
He said the car driver, a 35-year-old man from Balik Pulau, died of severe injuries to his neck. Further investigations are ongoing to track down the other vehicle involved.
Chong said the case is being investigated for causing death by reckless and dangerous driving.

Facebook account owner sought
Ipoh police are seeking the owner of Facebook account ‘Kelvin Lim’ and other witnesses to help in investigations into a misunderstanding at a funfair in Simpang, near Taiping.
Taiping district police chief Nasir Ismail said the police were trying to complete their investigations into a viral video which showed a misunderstanding between a man and workers at a funfair after his wife and child had a fall there.
He said the video showed “a criminal act”, and investigations were being carried out into an office of causing mischief or causing hurt. - FMT
