PETALING JAYA: Several areas in the Klang Valley have been hit by flash floods.
In a series of Facebook posts, the Kuala Lumpur information department stated that parts of Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Subang and Gombak have been affected by flash floods following heavy rain.
The department also said the left lane along Jalan Damansara, heading towards Jalan Istana, was flooded.
It reported traffic congestion in all the flooded areas.
Last week, heavy rain saw the opening of two relief centres to accommodate flood victims in Sungai Buloh and Subang Jaya.
Relief centres were also opened in Melaka and Negeri Sembilan. - FMT
