KUALA LUMPUR: Long queues and large crowds were seen at the Kelana Jaya Line LRT stations today as a suspected power supply component failure at the Putra Heights station caused delays and longer waiting times.
As a safety measure, trains are being operated manually at Putra Heights station, while train movements at other stations are also expected to be slower, Rapid KL said in a statement.
Rapid KL's technical team has been deployed to the station to carry out checks and restore normal operations as quickly as possible.
Auxiliary police officers and station personnel have been stationed at concourse and platform areas to assist passengers and manage crowd movement. Periodic announcements on train services are also being made at stations.
Passengers are advised to check Rapid KL's official social media channels or the MyRapid PULSE app for the latest updates on the Kelana Jaya Line.
