Blogger on Scorpene submarine? Why?

Controversial pro-Umno blogger Papagomo was on board the KD Tun Razak scorpene submarine yesterday, along with Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng and his two deputies - Mansor Othman and P Ramasamy.

In his blog posting today headlined "Guan Eng Nenen Perlekehkan Kemampuan Anak Anak Kapal KD Tun Razak", Papagomo said the chief minister issued a negative statement about the submarine, when he boarded it at Defence Minister Zahid Hamidi's invitation.

He cited yesterday'sMalaysiakinireport , quoting Lim as saying that he does not dispute the ability of the navy but differs from the government on the cost of submarine, Papagomo said the latter had tried to "spin" the issue.

"What kind of statement is this from Guan Eng?" asked Papagomo, adding that the DAP national secretary general praised the Navy yet criticised the submarine.

Papagomo exposed Anwar sex tapes

Papagomo is best known for his biting blog posts mostly against Pakatan leaders like Lim and Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim.

He is well-known for exposing a photo of a so-called victim who was allegedly sexually harassed by Lim's 16-year old son, which turned out be untrue with the woma publicly denouncing the matter.

Papagomo has also been publishing clips of sex video allegedly involving Anwar - the PKR advisor - said to be involved in a tyrst with a sex worker earlier this year, but the later had vehemently denied the allegations.

Recently, another blogger Amin Iskandar, lodged a police report against Papagomo for positing that he, too, had been sodomised by Anwar.

Papgomo said during the five- hour voyage in the submarine yesterday, he had questioned the crew about everything related to the craft, the details of which are kept by the Navy and considered "a government secret".

"There are things Gomo can talk about and there are things that Gomo cannot say based on the interest (importance) of the country's navy," he wrote.

"What is certain is that the cost of the submarine purchased by the government is the best and covers important strategic scope for the country which Gomo cannot say as the Royal Malaysian Navy keeps many secrets about the Scorpene submarine," he added.

Papagomo also questioned if the Pakatan Rakyat leaders were aware of how well they were treated by the Navy when even government leaders do not enjoy the benefits of experiencing the submarine like they had.

He criticised the DAP for its "clear" agenda to undermine the country's security, and for acting as proxies for foreigners against Malaysia.

Papagomo dedicated two posts to Lim's adventure in the Scorpene submarine yesterday, with another posted yesterday related to the CM being "sea sick".

Several journalists on board had identified the blogger, but Lim has reportedly said he does not recognise Papagomo.

However, Papagomo was not the only blogger spotted yesterday.

Another pro-Umno blogger, Zakir Mohammed, who goes by the moniker "Big Dog" was also seen with Lim when he alighted from the same helicopter upon returning from the submarine to the Lankawi airport around 7pm.

According to eyewitnesses, Zakir was on board the boat heading to the submarine from the frigate anchored some distance off the Langkawi coast, however, he did not board the Scorpene.

Zakir also attended the press conference Langkawi airport airfield where Lim and Zahid briefed journalists on the submarine trip at the Langkawi airport airfield.

But during the conference, when Zahid was asked if there were any bloggers who visited the submarine, he replied in the negative.

"If we allowed any blogger to go, others would ask too," he had said.
