One-week campaign applicable to private vehicle owners.
KUALA LUMPUR: Puspakom is offering free vehicle inspection services (VVI) from February 7 to 14 for private vehicle owners at all its 55 branches in conjunction with the Chinese New Year (CNY).
Its chief executive officer, Mohammed Shukor Ismail said the inspection focused more on the aspect of vehicle safety such as the efficiency of the braking system, side slip, suspension and tyre grip.
“By having the inspection, vehicle owners would know beforehand the level of safety of their vehicle before beginning a journey or sending the vehicle for maintenance services,” he said in a statement today. The service would start at 8 am until 5 pm every day, according to the hours of operation of each branch.
Members of the public can make appointments by contacting the Puspakom branches or contacting the toll-free number 1800-88-6927 for further information. A similar campaign last year saw about 4,000 private vehicles being inspected.
