COVID-19 | The Health Ministry said 7,739 new daily Covid-19 cases were reported yesterday, bringing the total cumulative cases to 4,333,557.
Active cases currently stood at 134,470, down -36.5 percent compared to 14 days ago.
New cases according to states are as follows:

Kedah (300)
Terengganu (262)
Sarawak (178)

Pahang (114)
Malacca (105)

Over the past week, an average of 26.3 people were reported to have died of Covid-19, while the average for the past 30 days was 53.1, indicating that Covid-19 deaths are on the downtrend.
Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, a total of 35,311 deaths have been attributed to Covid-19.
There have been 328 reported Covid-19 deaths this month. For comparison, there were 2235 deaths last month and 770 deaths in February.
Selangor reported the most deaths (4), followed by Johor (2), Kedah (2), Pahang (2), Perak (2), Sarawak (2), Kuala Lumpur (2), Malacca (1), Penang (1), and Terengganu (1).
There are 2,794 Covid-19 patients who are hospitalised of which 174 are in intensive care.
