Selangor BN information chief Isham Jalil lodged a police report this morning against Kedah Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor in connection with the purported 'PAS Leaks' issue.
In his report, Isham alleged Sanusi committed criminal defamation when the latter accused him of fabricating the meeting minutes, which contained the alleged findings of two PAS leaders after they visited various figures from Umno, Bersatu, and Pejuang.
"The statement was made by him (Sanusi) during an official press conference at his office in Wisma Darul Aman, Kedah and had been reported widely by the media.
"In his statement, he was referring to the "Pasleak" document, which has gone viral.
"The statements made by the Kedah menteri besar were not true, slanderous, and malicious against me. In my opinion, the statements had elements of criminal defamation under Section 499 of the Penal Code," Isham (above) said in his report.
He posted the contents of the report on his Facebook account.
The politician, who was a special officer of former prime minister Najib Razak, urged the police to investigate Sanusi under the Penal Code or any other relevant law.
In a press conference two days ago, Sanusi commented on the purported leaked document.
He reportedly dismissed the document as the work of PAS' opponents and trained his guns at BN.
He claimed the document could have been fabricated by a cyber trooper who has vested interests and allegedly made a reference to Isham. - Mkini
