NILAI: A lorry collided with 11 cars stopped at a traffic light junction at Jalan Persiaran Pusat Bandar near here this afternoon.

Nilai district police chief Fazley Ab Rahman said a lorry was carrying about eight tonnes of paper and was heading from Melaka to Beranang, Selangor.

The accident was believed to have been caused by faulty brakes on the lorry. The 26-year-old driver lost control of the vehicle before it skidded into the stationary vehicles.

One man, the driver of one of the cars, suffered minor head injuries. The lorry driver and other car drivers were unhurt.

Fazley said a drug test on the lorry driver came back negative. - FMT
