Active cases currently stood at 126,456, down 38.8 percent compared to 14 days ago. As of yesterday, the R-number for Malaysia was 0.84. An R-number of less than 1.00 suggests that the spread of Covid-19 was decelerating.

Negeri Sembilan (493)
Perak (373)
Johor (359)

Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, a total of 35,341 deaths have been attributed to Covid-19.

There have been 358 reported Covid-19 deaths this month. For comparison, there were 2235 deaths last month and 770 deaths in February.

There are 2,675 Covid-19 patients who are hospitalised of which 151 are in intensive care.

According to Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, only Putrajaya exceeded 50 percent in the utilisation rate of its available beds allocated for Covid-19 patients.
