The Health Ministry yesterday reported 9,673 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the cumulative infections to 4,372,697.
Health authorities also recorded 16 new fatalities yesterday, putting the death toll at 35,397.
The active cases have declined by 4,594 to 113,176.

From the 16 new deaths today, five were brought in dead.
There have been 414 reported Covid-19 deaths this month. For comparison, there were 2,235 deaths last month and 770 deaths in February.
There are 2,281 Covid-19 patients who are hospitalised of which 152 are in the intensive care unit.
As of April 14, the national infectivity is at 0.86, indicating that the spread of Covid-19 is slowing. The value must be kept under 1.0 to prevent exponential growth in cases.
