PETALING JAYA: Police are probing the death of a man whose body was found in a cement mixer at a factory in Section 35, Shah Alam, in Selangor.
Shah Alam police chief Iqbal Ibrahim said the public had informed the cops on the discovery of the body at about 11.45am today.
He said investigations were underway and that the case has been classified as “sudden death”.
Iqbal said forensic investigators found that the man’s right arm and his head were severed.
“The man was believed to have fallen into the cement mixing tank and got caught in the blades of the machine.
“He has been identified by his next-of-kin by the tattoo on his left arm,” Iqbal said in a statement.
He said the remains were sent to the Shah Alam Hospital for a post-mortem.
