Bomb Threat and Bomb Treat

So what's so earth shattering if BolehLand is crowned with having the most number of frens on social media network like Facebook. Or, we are social media addicts who find love, security and fortune in cyberspace than probably with real human beings near them, like their parents, friends, colleagues, lover or the other person in a free wi-fi cafe.

Like BAD mobile phone etiquette which Bolehland must hold the world's record, some of us in social media cyberworld are equally horrible in social media etiquette.

The recent case of the moronic remark by an undergraduate student who shown his stupidity and lack of maturity think everything is a joke and child's play in BolehLand. Perhaps it is seeing how the leaders and politicians are all behaving like clowns and doing a circus act to the rest of the folks and indulging in juvenile games and behaving like spoil brats, the student took his liberty too far by making a serious threat against a leader!

We may have our differences of opinion but to make a serious threat of harm or worse a lethal threat at anyone and turn around and say 'it was a joke' is the height of stupidity. And rightly so, the law book must be thrown at the person for making a joke out of threatening someone's life.

Mentioning it among friends or within hearing range of the public is bad enough. To 'joke' about it on social media is bad taste, unwarranted and shows lack of maturity, very stupid and plain idiotic.

We still think Facebook is like our private world where we can think all we want and what we like in our head, we feel safe.Those with more friends on Facebook and claim they hold the world record is like a fool believing he is a millionaire because he has over million hair on his or her body surface!

Such callous and careless and irresponsible public behaviour in any space where more than oneself hears, sees or feels what you say, do or act out does not need our sympathy. Call it naivety or whatever excuse, it is no excuse to threaten anyone even animals with physical or even emotional harm. The adage 'don't do unto those what you don't want others to do unto you' may be a good yardstick for good etiquette just about anywhere, either mobile phone use or misuse as well as that related to social media and in cyberspace.

But what threat threatens about a 'Bomb' treat reported by an online news being said publicly and now going viral in cyberspace?

A former federal minister from Umno claimed today that cash was handed out in previous election campaigns in attempts to buy votes, a tactic known as “bomb”.

And it seems the fixed deposit states have been likely carpet bomb with cash than any lethal explosives, though in an incident lethal explosives, C4 to be specific was used related to a cash carried too far issue perhaps?

Mind you, the above bomb threat was by a juvenile while this 'bomb' treat was by a veteran, even more controversial is from the ruling party! Nevertheless, one can detect the acrid smell of corruption, right?

So, the cat or rather the horse and in these days and times in BolehLand, the cow has spoken finally! So with such revelation from an ex inner circle that once walked the corridors of power, there must be some truth to the 'treats' being handed out. Such expose may pose a real threat to those implicated if only the Mereka Anti Corruption Crew will take serious note and action of this public revelation.

The public must wait with anxious wonderment, who among the implicated will try and defuse this 'bomb' treat damaging revelation? Who would be brave enough to touch this potentially explosive issue and grab the bull by the horns so to speak. Or will those being allegedly accused will instead squeeze the crown jewels of the whistle-blower and take the wind out of him to retract the allegation. Or better still, do a vlote-face and claim it was said in jest and just a 'bomb' treat joke huh?

Will this latest release of 'bomb' treat, mooove the bull stories surrounding the cow-troversial cow reading, condo buying, credit card spending and all in the family lembu affair to the background and pose a great threat to those involved or a party to it?

Noone is sure why this ex Minister decided to release a stinging bomb on his own party? Is it a sign of realising one's frailty and mortality now that one is heading near towards a more powerful entity, called God, than in his heydays when he felt like one of those God's and use or abused its power towards the ordinary BolehLand folks?

Why the sudden revelation and 'guilty' conscience to come out clean? Or is there a connection with strong friendship bonds with the cowhands? Perhaps our former cabinet minister may feel sympathy for ex fellow inner circle colleague for being left all alone and abandoned to feign for herself or rather for the rest of those in their High Chaparral to ward off the threats of being accused of corruption, nepotism and what not?

Is it some vendetta against those for not being gentlemen and helped their own kind. Did the gang failed to abide by the 'you scratch my back I scratched yours' code? What benefit does it serve to drop this 'bombshell' about blatant 'bombing' treats to win the voter's war at this time and venue. Was it to teach whoever he or they are a lesson of betraying their own kind huh?

If BolehLand folks smell some conspiracy theory and sense the fuse is also wired to the cow-sensational stories that keep surfacing each day, we can't really blame the ordinary folks. After all, each day the public is being bombarded with all kinds of conspiracy theories and every thing, happening, about to happen or not even happened yet is a potential timebomb that threatened to divide further its people whether race, religion, language, ideology, cultural beliefs or colour, any miniscule issue can spark potential explosive reactions.

So bomb threat or bomb treat, both are lethal whichever way one looks at it, either a joke, intentional, unintentional, intended, real or false, consequences are there in the waiting. If the issue really blows up, it would be interesting when the dust and debris settle who are victims and who are the survivors huh?

Who said we are not living in interesting times in BolehLand eh? We don't need natural disasters to threaten our existence and experience miseries and untold suffering. We have lots of man-made ones to keep us hanging on to surviving and our mortal lives too, hah! - YAHMEH!!!
