PM Najib Tun Razak, 'bluffs' ... PM Najib Razak is blaming the Selangor state government (under Opposition) on the election promises made during last year Hulu Selangor elections but not yet carried out by BN.
When meeting with the settlers Gedangsa in Kuala Kubu Baru, he said led Selangor government People's Alliance has refused to approve housing projects planned by the federal government.
"We want to build houses for the second generation of settlers, but was rejected by the state government ... just for political reasons.
" I could not do anything for the development of land is under the authority of the state government, "he said.
He said he was disappointed that the promised projects can not be fulfilled and had to explain to the people on the issue.
"If you want change, then do when the time comes, "he reminded the people to vote wisely in the upcoming election.
Selangor MB Khalid Ibrahim replied ..... There were no applications for planning permission in Felda Gedangsa housing project in Hulu Selangor from the Federal Government or Felda.
Mentri Besar, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said the State Government has never accepted the proposal to develop housing projects in Felda's second generation as claimed Prime Minister.
"If there are any applications received, it only involves the application of Felda to dispose of ownership of land measuring 14.65 hectares in Felda Soeharto for residential purposes.
"The State Government, however, found that the land is located under Section 44 of the Group Settlement Act 1960, which means the land is still under the authority of the Federal Government. It is wrong for the Prime Minister claimed that the State Government refuses to help," said Chief Minister.
He was commenting on Prime Minister's statement blaming the state government People's Alliance for allegedly refused to approve housing projects in Felda, Felda Hulu Selangor.
Mentri Besar said, check with the Department of Lands and Mines NSW also found that there was a proposal in early of the 1990s from Felda for development projects in Felda Gedangsa but rejected by the State Government at the time the National Front for the failure of development projects in Felda Crocodile River.
