While most people’s attention is focused on the Anwar verdict, student activist Adam Adli has been suspended for three semesters, according to lawyer Fadiah Nadwa.
Fadiah said she received a text message from students accompanying Adam for the disciplinary hearing at UPSI. The proceedings lasted about an hour.
Meanwhile, there is a heavy police presence at UPSI.
So much for the ‘reformist’ credentials of the Najib administration. Whatever ‘feel-good’ factor for the BN’s ‘reforms’ after the Anwar verdict would surely evaporate now.
They never learn, do they?
Meanwhile, Azmin Ali is expected to lead a convoy of cars from KL to the Seberang Jaya expo site for a PKR ceramah tonight.
