PUTRAJAYA- The Malaysian security forces did not open fire at a group of Filipinos holed up in a village in Sabah.
Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein confirmed it via his Twitter.
"I can confirm that our security forces did not fire them but it was the intruders that opened fire first at 10am," he said.
It was reported earlier that a gunfight had broken out between security forces and the Sulu gunmen holed up in Tanduo village in Lahad Datu since Feb 9.
