KUANTAN- International action superstar Jackie Chan flew in tonight to join Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak at a charity dinner.
Chan arrived in private jet at the Sultan Ahmad Shah Airport here at 7.55pm tonight.
The 58-year-old Hong Kong superstar and his entourage were immediately brought to the airport VIP lounge after their plane landed.
Chan was enthusiastically greeted by waiting fans and some were seen snapping picture as he was whisked by policeman to an awaiting Bentley.
Police later escorted him to the Darul Makmur Stadium for the Sekolah Menengah Chung Hwa charity dinner.
He will join Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak at the dinner where he is expected to help auction off three branded watches for the construction of the private school.
Chan, who received worldwide recognition for his acting, is best known for comedy and action flicks such as Rush Hour, Shanghai Noon and self-directed Police Story and CZ12.
Being a keen philanthropist, Chan has also set aside a percentage from his business profits for charity causes including through the Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation.
