PKR hopes that it will get to contest the Segamat parliamentary seat in Johor, to replace its loss of Gelang Patah, which has been given to DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang.
PKR is now in talks with PAS and DAP on the matter, PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim said at a ceramah in Taman Mega Ria, Johor Bahru, last night.
Anwar at DAP's 47th anniversary celebration inn Skudai last night named Lim as the Pakatan Rakyat candidate for Gelang Patah.
The Gelang Patah parliamentary constituency is one of the seats in Johor with a large number of Chinese voters. It has 54 percent Chinese voters, 34 percent Malay and 12 percent Indian.
The current MP is Tan Ah Eng of the MCA.
