GUA MUSANG, March 8 — Gua Musang MP Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah has denied talk that he has been offered the post of prime minister if the opposition captures Putrajaya in the upcoming 13th general election.
Describing it as utter nonsense, Tengku Razaleigh said it was deliberately created now that the general election was approaching.
“Its just nonsense, I am still in Umno and the story may have come from the other side,” he told reporters after opening a futsal court for Orang Asli in Lojing this evening.
He was commenting on rumours alleging that the opposition coalition had offered him the post if it were to rule the country.
Also present was Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek. – Bernama
