KAJANG: A car has crashed into the house of a politician here but the circumstances behind the incident are as yet unknown.
No injuries were reported from the incident, which occurred on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Asst Comm Othman Nanyan, the house belonged to an MCA division chief.
He added that police found two cars, one that crashed into the front gate of the politician’s house, and another near the scene of the crime that was registered as belonging to the same company as the crashed vehicle.
Following investigations, a 40-year-old man was apprehended.
ACP Othman said that the suspect tested positive for drugs and that the police were still searching for a motive.
He also urged the public to not speculate on the incident.
