WOMAN GUNNED DOWN IN HER BMW IN PENANG: COPS SAY MORE THAN 7 SHOTS FIRED AT CLOSE RANGE

GEORGE TOWN – A woman was shot dead as she was driving her BMW in Taman Pekaka in Sungai Dua, near here, Tuesday.

The victim, in her 40s, is believed to have died from gunshot injuries in a close-range shooting as several bullet holes were found on the windows of her car.

It is believed that gunmen fired more than seven shots in the attack at 5.30pm.

After the shooting, the white BMW coasted and crashed into the back of a four-wheel-drive vehicle in Jalan Pekaka 1 before coming to a stop at Lintang Pekaka 9.

A police forensics team is at the scene to investigate the case.
