UPKO’S DEPUTY PRESIDENT SUFFERS HEART ATTACK, IN HOSPITAL ICU

KOTA KINABALU – Sabah Resource Development and Information Technology Minister Datuk Siringan Gubat (pic) has been warded at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital here after he suffered a heart attack Saturday night.
Siringan, 68, was in Ranau town when he complained of chest pains and his driver immediately sent him to the district hospital at about 10.30pm.
The Upko acting deputy president had just finished a function prior to the heart attack.
One of his aides said Siringan, who is also Paginatan assemblyman, was later transferred to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he is reported to be in stable condition.
Doctors at the intensive care unit are monitoring him closely.
Siringan is not known to have suffered any heart attacks before this.
