Dow Jones Blasts Through 21,000 After Trump's Speech

NY : Dow on Wed blasted through 21,000 mark for first time 

Trump's measured tone in speech to Congress lifted optimism

Seven of 11 major S&P sectors gained more than 1%, energy up 2.05%

8.1b shares changed hands, most in 2017 above 6.9b average for 20 days

On Wed Lowe's jumped 9.5% after upbeat sales forecast.

S&P 500 is trading 18 times earnings, 10-year average of 14

Advancers outnumbered decliners on NYSE by 2.08-to-1 ratio

Nasdaq 3.05-to-1 ratio favored advancers.

S&P 500 posted 140 new 52-week highs and five new lows

My comments :  If an Army marches on its stomach then the US economy marches to Wall Street.  Whatever the detractors say about Donald Trump the Dow Jones has been going up, up and up. 

This is good news for the whole world folks.  We really need good news. There will be no war between the USA and Russia or between the USA and China either. 

It is time to have faith in the future and to have greater faith in ourselves.
