PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli today alleged that the National Service Training Department (JLKN) registered its former trainees as voters without their knowledge and consent.
This is done in hope the new voters would become the vote bank for Umno/BN, he told a press conference today.
He claimed to possess documents that will prove his claims, but he refused to share it to the media.
"These complaints were received over the last six months. It's not coming just from the voters, but also from a whistleblower from the department," the Pandan MP alleged.
He demanded defence minister Hishammuddin Hussein and JLKN chief director Mohmed Asri Yusof offer an explanation.
"I will come out with more statements on this matter while waiting for them to respond.
"From March 10 onward, the public could lodge complain anonymously (with us), we will gather these information and confront the department," he said.
