KUALA LUMPUR: Two Orang Asli villages in Pahang will come under a two-week Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) from Sept 28 to contain the spread of Covid-19.
National Security Council (NSC) director-general Datuk Rodzi Md Saad said the EMCO would be enforced at Kampung Orang Asli Sungai Mai in Jerantut and Kampung Inoi in Rompin.
The EMCO is scheduled to end on Oct 11, he said in a statement on his official Facebook page today.
He also said the EMCO at the Rancangan Rumah Murah in Kampung Kolek, Sungai Lembing in Kuantan, which began on Sept 14, would end as scheduled tomorrow (Sept 27). - NST
