From Clement Stanley
As the nation’s leader, Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob should not be afraid of those who are more politically powerful than him as he does not cater to their needs.
He should not fear that he is no more than a party vice-president.
For the people’s trust in him is not based on whether he is Umno president or not but rather on whether he believes in strong principles and integrity.
He caters to the majority who do not have any affiliation with any political party.
He should not fear choosing his conscience over all else, for fortune favours the brave.
Neither should he fear when others treat him as a vessel for their ambitions because he carries the hopes and dreams of people who care only for the future of their children and their children’s children.
Ismail should not be afraid of those who thirst for power and have huge ambitions because the needs of the majority supersede the desire of such people.
He should also not fear the threat to his position as the present leader of this country because nothing matters more than a bold and brave leader who can work for peace, stability, unity and prosperity for this nation.
Ismail should not be afraid of what he personally believes in even if it means an end to his journey as the nation’s number 1, for he will be remembered as a prime minister who dared to stand up to some and go where even angels feared to go.
He should remember this: What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul?
He must always remember who he is because he carries the hopes and dreams of an entire nation. - FMT
