MERSING: Two of the divers reported missing off Pulau Tokong Sanggol here have been found alive.

The two - British national Adrian Peter, 46, and French national Alexia Alexandra, 18 - were found by fishermen at 2am on Saturday (April 9) and are currently being treated at the KPJ Hospital at Pasir Gudang.

With this, the search and rescue (SAR) operation will focus on finding the last victim, Adrian's 14-year-old son Nathen Renze.

Earlier, one of the four European divers who went missing on Wednesday (April 6) was rescued; 35-year-old Norwegian divemaster Kristine Grode, was rescued about 55km away from the dive site some 20 hours after a SAR mission was launched.

Grodem was found floating, complete with her diving suit and equipment, by a tugboat heading to Thailand from Indonesia on Thursday (April 7) at 8.15am.

The four were last seen on Pulau Tokong Sanggol before a scuba diving exercise near the island, which is nine nautical miles (16km) from the Johor mainland. - Star
