PENAMPANG: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has arrived at the Hongkod Koisaan hall here.
As he made his entrance, Anwar was escorted by a group of the Kadazandusun high priestesses "bobohizan" and others in their Kadazandusun Murut traditional attires.
Also with him were Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, Kadazandusun Murut Paramount leader or Huguan Siou Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan and State-level Kaamatan festival main organising committee chairman Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan.
Anwar, who wore batik and Sigah headgear, is here for the Sabah-level Kaamatan festival.
Also present was Sabah Yang diPertua Negeri Tun Juhar Mahiruddin.
After the festival, Anwar will head to Lokawi camp and Kinarut bazaar for meet-and-greet sessions.
At 5pm, he will attend the "Temu Anwar" session at Universiti Malaysia Sabah. - NST
