EMBARRASSING OUTCOME OF WAR IN UKRAINE - FAILURE OF WESTERN WEAPONS

 Lets keep track of the British American War in Ukraine. It does not matter whose side you are on but It is important to keep track plainly and objectively of what is going on in this war. It is a watershed moment which is perhaps seeing the final ending of the 19th century (at last) in Europe.

The power equation in Europe and the world today is a direct outcome of WW2 which ended in 1945 - 78 years ago. 

WW2 in turn was the direct outcome of the failure to properly resolve WW1 which ended in 1918,  just 21 years before WW2.

And WW1 was the direct result from the dying days of the European empires in the 19th century like the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the weakening Tsarist Russia, the collapsing Ottoman Empire and the new challengers like the American empire, Japan, the communist ideology, various freedom and independence movements in Europe, Asia and the Americas. 

Japan shocked the Western world when they defeated Tsarist Russia at the naval Battle of Tsushima in 1905 (between Kyushu and the Korean peninsula). The little men from Japan could build huge battleships with their huge naval guns which sent the Russian Navy to the bottom of the sea.  Most certainly Japan had to be contained. Which they did 40 years later in 1945.

So the world is in the process of sorting out its power equations which still have an almost direct link to the 19th century. (Including in our country where we are still sorting out issues created by the British Empire here in the 19th century).

The war in Ukraine now is no more a clash of empires - or not exactly. The Russian Empire ended around 1990. The war in Ukraine is a clash between technological societies and morality. Or whose technology is superior and whose morality serves their society better.

Today in Ukraine both the technology and the morality seems to be on the side of the Russians. The British and the Americans have not only fallen behind in their technology but they are also quite the amoral people. 

(Yes, yes, yes I know you will argue but lets cut the morality argument short. They cooked up wars against Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan.  They cooked up the war in Ukraine, to contain Russia. Now they are loudly and arrogantly broadcasting their plans for another war in Asia. To contain China.)

And they are failing in their technology. Plus they are telling unbelievably feeble lies about their technology. Recently the Americans claimed that their Patriot missiles had shot down the Russian Khinzal hypersonic missile in Ukraine.

Well here is the catch. The latest US Patriot flies at a maximun speed of about Mach 3-4. The earlier versions could only fly at around Mach 2. This is not hypersonic speed. The Russian Khinzal missile is hypersonic and flies at Mach 13. How can a missile flying at Mach 3 catch up with a missile that is FOUR times faster?

Plus the Patriot missiles radar system CANNOT track any target that is flying above the speed of Mach 3. These are technical specs which the missile fellows know about.

Plus the Patriot missile flies a 'ballistic trajectory'. This means it flies in a straight line (well it will still have to arc or curve towards its target but along a 'straight' trajectory).

 

It means the Patriot missile cannot make sudden changes in its direction like flying zig zags or corkscrews. It does not have the required kinetic energy (and rocket fuel) to do that. 

The brochure says the Patriot missile is "intended from the outset to engage and destroy tactical ballistic missiles". Meaning it can only engage another missile that also has a 'ballistic trajectory'. 

The problem is the Russian Khinzal missile is not ballistic. The Khinzal can perfom manouevres, turn corkscrews in flight, fly zig zags (sharp rights and lefts, up and down) to avoid being tracked by enemy radar and enemy missiles. 

Sure enough the Russians have denied that any of their Khinzal hypersonic missiles have been shot down by the Patriots. And here is a short video that shows the opposite - a Patriot missile system is being blown up (on the ground) by a Russian anti-radar missile. 

 

 

It is indeed a sad day (and a bad day as well) when the US Pentagon has to resort to telling tales about its weapons systems. As you are reading this the American GPS guided JDAM bombs are still being jammed by the Russians and completely missing their targets in Ukraine. Their HIMARS rockets too have been made quite useless by Russian electronic jamming - using quite ancient jamming technology.

The German Gepard anti-aircraft system is being blown to bits by Russian drones. The only consolation for the Germans is that the Gepard was designed in the 1970s and is no more used by the German Army (since 2012). 

Likewise the German Leopard 2 tanks are causing a huge headache in Ukraine because they fire (or cannot fire) different ammunition made by different European countries.

According to Colonel Douglas Macgregor, by May 2023 over 300,000 Ukrainians have died, quite needlessly. The war is effectively over. 

The German Chancellor Olaf is such a laugh. France's Macron has become an object of public hatred. In the UK, Rishi Sunak is waiting to be booted out. Donald Trump's popularity is EIGHT TIMES more than Joseph Biden. The west has lost this one.
